Sheryl France-Moran
Sheryl France-Moran was drawn to Y-Malawi because of its holistic approach to ministry. She helped form Y-Malawi as a nonprofit and later served for 10 years on the U.S. Board of Directors. Today, she serves on the Sponsorship Team, helping connect sponsors with the girls and women they support in Malawi, and helping those relationships grow in both directions. Sheryl’s favorite part of serving with Y-Malawi is serving alongside the Malawian people, who reflect the warmth and generosity behind Malawi’s well-known nickname, “The Warm Heart of Africa.”

Scott Anderson
Scott Anderson was drawn to Y-Malawi by the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives while sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. Professionally, Scott has worked his way up to become a director of accounting, a journey he describes as both challenging and rewarding. Moving into leadership has allowed him to spend more time mentoring other team members, which has become one of the most fulfilling parts of his work. Scott’s favorite part of serving with Y-Malawi is knowing that his role, though one part of a much larger effort, helps support the mission of meeting the needs of people halfway around the world.

They volunteer in sponsorship support and medical outreach, helping extend care and encouragement to those served by the ministry. For Clayton and Linda, one of the greatest joys of serving with Y-Malawi is being part of Christ’s hands and feet through work that brings help, hope, and compassion to others.
